Global Configuration Context
vlan <VLAN ID> ip igmp
To enable IGMP on the VLAN, enter the following command:
Syntax: vlan <VLAN ID> ip igmp
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID of a TMS VLAN.
vlan <VLAN ID> ip pim-sparse
To enable multicast routing on the VLAN, enter the following command:
Syntax: vlan <VLAN ID> ip pim-sparse
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID with the ID of a host switch VLAN. With
this command you enter the PIM context of the VLAN context. The prompt is
ProCurve(tms-module-<slot ID>:vlan-<VLAN ID>-pim-
sparse)#.
vlan <VLAN ID> ip rip
To enable (or disable) RIP on a VLAN, enter the following command:
Syntax: [no] vlan <VLAN ID> ip rip
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID with the ID of a host switch VLAN.
To enable RIP and configure RIP settings for the VLAN, enter the following
command:
Syntax: [no] vlan <VLAN ID> ip rip <command option>
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID with the ID of a host switch VLAN.
The options available for the command are shown in Table A-35. Use the no
option with any of these options to disable the associated feature.
