• Private
– Role = Manager
– Write Access = Unrestricted
3. You can change the names, roles, and write access of the default commu-
nities, or you can add new communities. Editing and adding a community
are much the same process:
• To edit one of the default communities, click the Edit icon in the Tools
column for the community that you want to edit.

• To add a community, click Add another community.

4. For Community Name, type the community name for the SNMP server.
5. From the Role list, select Manager (read-write) or Operator (read only).
Select the role that corresponds with the community name you typed in
step 4.
6. From the Write Access list, select Unrestricted (read-write) or Restricted
(read only). Select the access that corresponds with the community name
and role that you specified in steps 4 and 5.
7. Click OK.
