Configure a Shrew Soft VPN Client for Windows

You should see the adaptor for your physical connection and its IP
address.
If you are using a virtual adaptor, you should also see a new adaptor. This
interface has the IP address assigned to it either manually or by the TMS
zl Module using IRAS.
Note You will not see a default gateway for the virtual adaptor. Do not worry. The
client has a virtual point-to-point connection to the TMS zl Module. It will send
all traffic that has been selected for the VPN (the setting in the client’s Policy
tab) over the tunnel.

Shrew Soft VPN Clients
Table 7-46 displays the settings that should be established on the TMS zl
Module to support the IPsec connection to the Shrew Soft VPN clients. The
table also displays necessary firewall policies. Finally, note that VLANs and
necessary routes should be in place on the TMS zl Module. In this configura-
tion, the TMS zl Module reaches remote clients on a VLAN in the External zone
(which is a typical configuration).
