Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting the TMS zl Module in Routing Mode
3. View the VLANs on the participant.
hostswitch(tms-module-C)# show vlans
You will see output similar to the following:
Internet (IP) Service
IP routing: enabled
Default gateway:
Domain suffix: example.com
DNS server:
ID VLAN Zone IP Config IP Address Subnet Mask
--- ---- ---- -------- --------- ----------
*20 VLAN20 ZONE1 static
*: Allow IP from switch on this VLAN.
In this example, VLAN 20 has been created on the participant, but it does
not have an IP address. This is expected because when the participant
becomes part of the HA cluster, it clears any IP addresses that have been
assigned to its VLAN interfaces.
VLAN 20 has also been configured on the master and has been assigned
the IP address 172.16.20.1 /24.
4. Determine which zone has been configured as a management zone on the
participant. (More than one zone may be configured as a management
zone.)
hostswitch(tms-module-C)# show management
management zone ZONE1
no management priority-vlan
Note If a management zone has not been configured on the participant, you can add
specific firewall access policies to allow management traffic. However, you
must remember to delete these firewall access policies after you copy the files
you need from the participant to an external server.
5. Move to the global configuration context.
hostswitch(tms-module-C)# configure terminal
