Command-Line Reference
Global Configuration Context
high-availability ip
This command specifies the IP address of the TMS zl Module on the HA VLAN.
To set the HA interface IP address, type the following command:
Syntax: high-availability ip <IP address> <mask>
Replace <IP address> <mask> with the IP address and subnet mask you want
to assign to the module.
Note Even if you do not plan to configure the module for high availability (HA), you
should change the HA VLAN from default to prevent unwanted multicast
traffic from occupying the firewall's resources.
high-availability synchronize
Only the cluster master can synchronize the cluster.
To synchronize all other members of the cluster to the master’s startup-
configuration, enter the following command.
Syntax: high-availability synchronize
high-availability vlan
This command specifies the VLAN that the cluster members use exchange
traffic. To set the HA interface VLAN, type the following command:
Syntax: high-availability vlan <VLAN ID>
Replace <VLAN ID> with the VLAN ID number.
no high-availability
Enter this command to disable HA on a module and remove it from a cluster.
Syntax: no high-availability [delete-cluster-data]
Enter delete-cluster-data to remove VLAN IP addresses from the module.
Always use this command when removing the participant from the cluster. If
the participant retains the cluster IP settings, there will be a network address
conflict on your network.
If you want the master to retain its VLAN IP addresses once it leaves the
cluster, do not enter delete-cluster-data.
