Log Messages
Log Message Formats and Fields
Layer 2 Bridge
Log messages from the Layer 2 bridge (id=l2br_bridge) contain these fields:
■ destination_macaddress=[aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff]
The destination MAC address of the packet that triggered this log message
■ portname=[text]
The name of the port (interface) on which the packet that triggered this
log message was received or was being sent
■ packetlength=[integer]
The length of the packet that triggered this log message
Network Access System
Log messages from the network access system (id=netacc...) may contain these
fields
Network Access System: DHCP Client
Log messages from the DHCP client (id=netacc_dhcp_client) may contain these
fields:

interfacename text The interface on which the client has been enabled
leaseip [x.x.x.x] The IP address that was received from the DHCP server
serverip [x.x.x.x] The IP address of the server that offered the lease
bpauthserverdomainname [subdomain.domain.tld] The domain name of the authentication server for a BigPond
client
loginserverhost [subdomain.domain.tld] The domain name of the login server for BigPond client
inactimeout integer The inactivity timeout that was configured for the BigPond
client
username text The username that was configured for the BigPond client
