Note If you plan to do your initial setup on another VLAN, repeat the steps above.
Initially, you will only be able to access the Web browser interface from the
VLANs that you configure now in the CLI.
7. Optionally, you can configure a priority VLAN to ensure that you can
always access the Web browser interface (even if the TMS zl Module is
handling an extremely high volume of traffic).
For example, you may want to assign VLAN 5 as the priority VLAN.

8. Determine the VLAN on which the TMS zl Module connects to its default
gateway.
• When an external router is the default gateway, this VLAN is the VLAN
on which the host switch connects to the external router.
In Figure 2-12, this VLAN is VLAN99 (subnet 10.1.99.0/24). The exter-
nal router’s IP address on the interface that connects to this VLAN is
10.1.99.101. The TMS zl Module also has an IP address on this VLAN
(which you will configure in the next step) but the host switch
does not.

Syntax: management priority-vlan <VLAN ID>
Assigns priority handling to a VLAN so that the TMS zl
Module handles traffic from this VLAN before handling
traffic from other VLANs.
Replace <VLAN ID> with the number of a VLAN.
