Network Address Translation
NAT Examples
To set up this example, follow these steps:
1. Create a single-entry IP address object named Web_Services that contains
172.16.100.100. (See “Named Objects and Their Uses” in Chapter 4: “Fire-
wall“ for instructions.)
2. Configure a NAT policy to translate FTP traffic.
a. Click Firewall > NAT Policies > Policies.
b. Click Add Policy.

c. Select Destination for the translation type.
d. For From Zone, select INTERNAL. (The To Zone is always Self for
destination NAT.)
e. To Zone is automatically set to Self.
f. For Service, select ftp.
g. For Source, accept the default: Any Address.
h. For Destination, select Web_Services.
i. For NAT IP address, type 10.1.1.11.
j. For NAT Port (Optional), type 2101.
k. Click OK.
