Quality of Service (QoS) on RP Radios
Any transmission delays can have an adverse effect on voice traffic. In addition to
priority queuing, SVP-enabled RPs and phone handsets transmit voice packets in a
coordinated fashion, using a zero backoff interval and thereby eliminating delays
introduced by random backoff intervals.
The RPs 210, 220, and 230 are all SVP compliant. You enable this feature in the
WLAN configuration. See Chapter 4: “Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs).”
