You can view the following information:
■ Name—VLAN ID (also referred to as the interface).
■ Bytes In—total number of bytes received on the interface.
■ Packets In—total number of packets received on the interface, including packets
dropped and error packets.
■ Packets In Dropped—number of incoming packets that are dropped. Packets
might be dropped if the input queue is saturated or if an overrun occurs (the
interface receives packets faster than it can transfer them to a buffer).
■ Packets In Error—number of incoming packets with errors such as:
• Runt frames—Runt frames are smaller than the minimum Ethernet frame
of 64 bytes.
• Cyclic redundancy check (CRC) errors—CRC errors are reported if the
receiving station computes a CRC value that does not match the four-byte
CRC field at the end of the Ethernet frame.
• Late collisions—A late collision occurs after the sending station sends the
first 64 octets of data.
■ Bytes Out—total number of bytes sent on the interface.
■ Packets Out—total number of packets sent on the interface.
