To implement Layer 3 mobility, Wireless Edge Services zl Modules perform these
functions:
■ The modules support a Layer 3 mobility domain.
The area in which stations can roam freely (no matter which subnetworks are
supported in that area of the wired network) is the Layer 3 mobility domain. The
Wireless Edge Services zl Modules in the roaming domain are referred to as
peers. A domain can include up to 12 peers, each of which can support up to
4096 stations.
