Logging and Alarms
– Path—Enter the path for the directory in which the destination file
should be saved. Depending on your server, you may or may not need
to enter
/ before the directory name. Leave this field empty (or simply
enter
/) to save the file to the server’s default directory.

Managing the Alarm Log
In order for the Wireless Edge Services zl Module to log an alarm, you must activate
the corresponding trap. See “SNMP Traps” on page 2-112 of Chapter 2: “Configuring
the ProCurve Wireless Edge Services zl Module” for information on setting these
traps. When an enabled trap is triggered, the module generates an entry in its alarm
log. If you have configured an SNMP server, the module will also send the alarm to it.
View the alarm log by selecting Device Information > Alarm Log.
A list of alarms that the module has logged is displayed, as shown in Figure 12-50.
