3. In the Self Healing Action field, use the drop-down menu to select the action:
Open Rates—to configure the radio to support all data rates
Raise Power—to configure the radio to raise its power to the legal maxi-
mum. See Configuring a Self Healing Offset” on page 12-97 to determine
whether you will need to configure a self healing offset.
Both—to configure the radio to take both of these actions. This is the default
setting.
None—to configure the radio to take neither of these actions.
4. Click the OK button.
Configuring a Self Healing Offset
When you configure a radio to raise its transmit power as part of neighbor recovery,
you must configure a self healing offset for that radio if it meets either of these criteria:
It uses an external antenna.
It is located close to another RP radio.
The Wireless Edge Services zl Module subtracts the offset from the maximum power
allowed in your regulatory domain to define the maximum power for that radio. To
configure this parameter, complete these steps:
