3. In the Self Healing Action field, use the drop-down menu to select the
action:
• Open Rates—to configure the radio to support all data rates
• Raise Power—to configure the radio to raise its power to the legal
maximum. See “Configuring a Self Healing Offset” on page 12-98 to
determine whether you will need to configure a self healing offset.
• Both—to configure the radio to take both of these actions. This is the
default setting.
• None—to configure the radio to take neither of these actions.
4. Click the OK button.
Configuring a Self Healing Offset
When you configure a radio to raise its transmit power as part of neighbor
recovery, you must configure a self healing offset for that radio if it meets
either of these criteria:
■ It uses an external antenna.
■ It is located close to another RP radio.
