4. In the Access Control field, use the pull-down menu to select the access
control.
5. Click the OK button. The changes are applied to the running-config.
Note When you edit SNMP settings and click the OK button, the changes are applied
to the running-config, and you cannot revert back to previous settings. You
must re-enter the previous settings and click the OK button again to apply the
settings to the running-config.
6. To save the changes to the startup-config file, click the Save button at the
bottom of the navigation bar.
Changing the Password for the Operator or Manager User
The Wireless Edge Services xl Module ships with the default passwords listed
in Table 2-5.

To protect your network, you should change the passwords for both users.
Because the usernames and passwords are managed through SNMP v3, you
must select a password that meets SNMP v3 standards: the password must be
at least eight characters.
1. From the Management > SNMP Access > V3 screen, highlight the user-
name that you want to edit.
