ProCurve Wireless Edge Services xl Module
Remember that the external switch interfaces that link the infrastructure and
the wireless services-enabled switch must also carry traffic on the Radio Port
VLAN. These interfaces are either tagged or untagged for that VLAN, depend-
ing on whether they must carry other traffic in addition to that to and from
the RP.

While it is often a good idea to imitate the Wireless Edge Services xl Module
and create a VLAN dedicated to traffic to and from RPs, you can use any valid
VLAN numbers for Radio Port VLANs. Simply remember to tag the module’s
downlink port for that VLAN. You can even use VLAN 1 if your network devices
do not divide traffic into VLANs. Because RPs encapsulate wireless traffic,
