Setting Advanced Radio Properties
The third section of a radio type's default Configuration screen allows you to
configure advanced radio properties. You can:
■ alter the antenna mode
■ limit the maximum number of stations supported by the radio
■ set an adoption preference ID
■ enable support for the short preamble (typically, to support VoWLAN
devices)
■ improve wireless network performance by fine tuning:
• the Request to Send (RTS) threshold
• the delivery traffic indication messages (DTIM) and beacon intervals
■ set the self healing offset in networks that use neighbor recovery
