Monitoring the Wireless Network
This section will show you where to view information about wireless stations
and wireless network activity. It will also provide you with some tips in
interpreting this information.
You can monitor:
wireless stations’ associations (Device Information > Wireless Stations)
wireless statistics
individual statistics for traffic to and from each wireless station
(Device Information > Wireless Statistics)
average statistics for all traffic to and from an RP radio (Network
Setup > Radio > Statistics)
average statistics for all traffic in a wireless LAN (WLAN) (Network
Setup > WLAN Setup > Statistics)
average statistics for all traffic to and from all RPs on this module
(Network Setup > Module Statistics)
RPs (Device Information > Radio Port/LAN Statistics)
When troubleshooting, you can compare the various wireless statistics to
determine, for example, whether congestion seems to be problem throughout
a WLAN or is centered on a particular RP or group of RPs.
