Creating Lists of Allowed APs
AP detection simply enables adopted RPs to report on neighboring APs. The
Wireless Edge Services xl Module must sort the detected APs into approved
and unapproved lists.
By default, the module considers all APs to be unallowed, which means they
display on the unapproved list.
You should configure the module to allow APs that meet certain criteria—for
example, that are part of your wireless network. The module’s OS moves
allowed APs to an approved APs list so they do not clutter the unapproved list
and make it difficult for you to identify actual threats to network security.
