Web Authentication for Mobile Users
Overview
Web Pages for the Login Process
To enable authentication through the Web, the Wireless Edge Services xl
Module provides three default Web pages that guide users through the login
process:
■ Login page—When users associate with a WLAN that is configured for
Web-Auth and try to access a valid Web site, their Web browser is redi-
rected to the login page, and they are prompted to enter a username and
password. (See Figure 7-3.)

■ Welcome page—If users enter a valid username and password, a wel-
come page is displayed, reporting that the login attempt was successful.
The welcome page also provides a link that users can click to disconnect
from the network services your company provides through the Wireless
Edge Services xl Module. (See Figure 7-4.)
