logging
This command modifies message logging facilities. The no command negates the
logging configuration.
Syntax
logging (aggregation-time | buffered | console | facility | host | monitor | on | trap)
no logging
• aggregation-time - Sets number of seconds for aggregating repeated
messages.
– <1-60> - Aggregation time in seconds.
The following four commands share the logging level severity and lists.
• buffered - Sets buffered logging level.
• console - Sets console logging level.
• monitor - Sets terminal lines logging level.
• trap - Sets syslog servers logging level.
– <0-7> - Logging severity level.
– alerts - Immediate action needed (severity=1).
– critical - Critical conditions (severity=2).
– debugging - Debugging messages (severity=3).
– emergencies - System is unusable (severity=0).
– errors - Error conditions (severity=3).
– informational - Informational messages (severity=6).
– notifications - Normal but significant conditions (severity=5).
– warnings - Warning conditions (severity=4).
