switches carry only traffic from the Radio Port VLAN, you can make these
ports untagged members of the Radio Port VLAN.

Instead of using the default Radio Port VLAN, you can use any VLAN in your
network—even a VLAN that is used to transmit wired traffic. In this case, you
must manually tag the downlink port for this VLAN and configure other switch
ports for this VLAN as described above. In Figure 2-19, for example, the
network administrator used VLAN 300 for traffic transmitted to and from one
of the RPs.
Because the traffic transmitted between the RPs and the Wireless Edge
Services xl Module is encapsulated, this wireless traffic remains separated
from the other traffic on your company’s network—even if the RP is assigned
