Documentation Errata and Notes
The following sections provide information on changes that should be applied to
the documentation, online help, and other information sources for each of the
HP ProCurve wireless products. The information includes the following:
● changes to the documentation
● identification of documentation sections that should be ignored because
they don’t apply to the HP ProCurve version of the product
● new information

The information in this fold-open sheet applies to the HP ProCurve 520wl product, but
before installing the unit, read the safety information in the HP ProCurve Wireless
Products Regulatory and Radio Approvals Booklet.
These precautions should be added:
Installation Precautions:
– When selecting the installation location for the Access Point 520wl, the
AC power outlet should be near the 520wl and should be easily accessible
in case the 520wl must be powered off.
– Do not mount or use the 520wl or power supply outdoors.
– Use only the power supply provided with your 520wl.
– If your installation requires a different power cord than the one supplied
with your 520wl, be sure to use a power cord displaying the mark of the
safety agency that defines the regulations for power cords in your
country. The mark is your assurance that the power cord can be used
safely with the 520wl.
