Configuration Issues After Downloading New Code
With software release 2.4.5, some enhancements have been made to the AP
520wl graphical user interface. One result is that if you previously config-
ured your AP 520wl to use RADIUS for MAC Authentication and RADIUS
for EAP/802.1x Authentication, when you download software release 2.4.5
to the AP 520wl, only the RADIUS for MAC Authentication configuration is
retained. The RADIUS for EAP/802.1x Authentication information will be
lost. You must go into the new configuration interface and reconfigure the
RADIUS for EAP/802.1x Authentication information.
Open a graphical user interface session with your AP 520wl, and clic
k on
the Configure button. Then click on the RADIUS tab and then on the EAP/
802.1x Auth tab. On that screen, reenter the configuration for EAP/802.1x
Authentication that you had set up under the previous software version.
For more information, see the AP 520wl User Guide that is on the CD.
