Configuring the GbE Interconnect Switch using the Menu-driven Interface
Using System Utilities
Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) services allow the switch firmware to be upgraded by
transferring a new firmware file from a TFTP server to the GbE Interconnect Switch. A
configuration file can also be loaded into the GbE Interconnect Switch from a TFTP server,
GbE Interconnect Switch settings can be saved to the TFTP server, and a history log can be
uploaded from the GbE Interconnect Switch to the TFTP server.
To set the system utilities settings:
1. Highlight System Utilities on the main menu.
2. Press the Enter key. The following screen is displayed.
The Switch Utilities menu displays the server IP address and the GbE Interconnect Switch IP
address, subnet mask, and gateway router addresses. The bottom of the screen provides a
menu for using TFTP services and a performing a ping test.
