ProLiant BL p-Class GbE Interconnect Switch Web-based Interface Reference Guide
1
Overview
Introduction
The GbE Interconnect Switch offers an embedded Web-based (HTML) interface that allows
you to manage each GbE Interconnect Switch from anywhere on the network through a
standard browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. The Web
browser acts as a universal access tool and can communicate directly with the GbE
Interconnect Switches using the HTTP protocol.
NOTE: Your browser window may differ from the screen shots in this guide.
The Web-based interface, the command line interface, and menu-driven interface are
different ways to access and configure the same internal switching software. All settings
encountered in Web-based interface are the same as the CLI and menu-driven interfaces.
This guide describes how to use the Web-based interface to access the GbE Interconnect
Switches, change their settings, and monitor their operation.
