GEA IP Statistics
The following table describes the GEA statistics for the selected port:
Table 58 GEA IP statistics of a port
Statistic Description
InReceives The total number of input datagrams received from interfaces, including those received in
error.
InHeaderError The number of input datagrams discarded because the IP address in their IP header's
destination field was not a valid address to be received at this entity (the switch).
InDiscards The number of input IP datagrams for which no problems were encountered to prevent their
continued processing, but which were discarded (for example, for lack of buffer space). Note
that this counter does not include any datagrams discarded while awaiting re-assembly.
ACL Meter Statistics
The following table describes the ACL Meter statistics for the selected port:
Table 59 ACL Meter statistics of a port
Statistic Description
Meter Displays port ACL meters.
Meter Count Displays the number of times the meter was activated.
RMON Port Statistics
The following table describes the Remote Monitoring (RMON) statistics of the selected port:
Table 60 RMON Statistics
Statistic Description
etherStatsDropEvents The total number of packets received that were dropped because of
system resource constraints.
etherStatsOctets The total number of octets of data (including those in bad packets)
received on the network (excluding framing bits but including
FCS octets).
etherStatsPkts The total number of packets (including bad packets, broadcast packets,
and multicast packets) received.
etherStatsBroadcastPkts The total number of good packets received that were directed to the
broadcast address.
etherStatsMulticastPkts The total number of good packets received that were directed to a
multicast address.
etherStatsCRCAlignErrors The total number of packets received that had a length (excluding
framing bits, but including FCS octets) of between 64 and 1518 octets,
inclusive, but had either a bad Frame Check Sequence (FCS) with an
integral number of octets (FCS Error) or a bad FCS with a non-integral
number of octets (Alignment Error).
etherStatsUndersizePkts The total number of packets received that were less than 64 octets long
(excluding framing bits but including FCS octets) and were otherwise
well formed.
etherStatsOversizePkts The total number of packets received that were longer than 1518 octets
(excluding framing bits but including FCS octets) and were otherwise
well formed.
