WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the
internal system components to cool before touching them.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server blade (on page 21).
2. Remove the server blade (on page 22).
3. Access the internal server components (on page 23).
4. Remove the hard drive assembly:
o To remove the hard drive assembly from the server A assembly, remove the T-15 hard drive carrier
screw, and then loosen the two system board thumbscrews. Slide the system board toward the rear
of the enclosure, and then remove the hard drive assembly.
