Removal and replacement procedures 37
Mezzanine connector cover (B-side)
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server blade (on page 28).
2. Remove the server blade (on page 29).
3. Remove the access panel (B-side) ("Access panel (B-side)" on page 32).
4. Remove the interposer board ("Interposer board" on page 47).
5. Remove the mezzanine connector cover.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Heatsink blank
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server blade (on page 28).
2. Remove the server blade (on page 29).
3. Do one of the following:
o If replacing a heatsink blank on the A-side, remove the following components:
— Access panel (A-side) (on page 31)
— Front panel/hard drive cage assembly (A-side) (on page 42).
o If replacing a heatsink blank on the B-side, remove the following components:
— Access panel (B-side) (on page 32)
— Front panel/hard drive cage assembly (B-side) (on page 43).
