Install the heatsink.
4. Install the front panel/hard drive cage assembly (A-side) ("Front panel/hard drive cage assembly

5. Install the hard drives ("Hard drive" on page 41).
6. Install the hard drive blanks ("Hard drive blank" on page 41).
7. Install the access panel (A-side) ("Access panel (A-side)" on page 31).
8. Install the server blade ("Installing a server blade" on page 30).
9. Power up the server blade.
Heatsink (B-side)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the
internal system components to cool before touching them.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server blade (on page 28).
2. Remove the server blade (on page 29).
3. Remove the access panel (B-side) ("Access panel (B-side)" on page 32).
4. Remove all hard drives ("Hard drive" on page 41).
5. Remove all hard drive blanks ("Hard drive blank" on page 41).
6. Remove the front panel/hard drive cage assembly (B-side) ("Front panel/hard drive cage assembly
