Possible Cause: Flash ROM is failing. The controller detects a checksum failure, but is unable to reprogram
the backup ROM.
Action:
1. Update the controller to the latest firmware version.
2. If the problem persists, replace the controller.

Possible Cause: The controller flash operation is interrupted by a power cycle, or flash ROM is failing. The

Action: Backup and restore the data on the drive. Sequential write operations to the affected blocks should
resolve the media errors.
