Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 do not support TLS v1.1 or v1.2, even if the NET Framework version 4.5 is
installed.
Directories Support for ProLiant Management Processors Compatibility
The Directories Support for ProLiant Management Processors utility operates on Microsoft
Windows and requires the Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 or later. The utility supports the
following operating systems:
Windows Server 2008 32-bit, 64-bit
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows Server 2012
Windows Server 2012 R2
Microsoft Windows Server 2016 - Server Core and Server with a Desktop
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 8
Windows 8.1
Configuring directory authentication with HPLOMIG
1. Discover the iLO management processors on the network.
2. Optional: Update the iLO firmware on the management processors.
3. Specify the directory configuration settings.
4. Depending on your configuration, do one of the following:
Name the management processors and then Configure the directory (HPE Extended
Schema only)
Configure the management processors to use the default schema (Schema-free only)
5. Depending on your configuration:
Configure extended schema settings
Configure schema-free settings
6. Configure directory objects (HPE Extended Schema only)
7. Configure communication between iLO and the directory.
Discovering management processors
1. Select StartAll ProgramsHewlett Packard EnterpriseDirectories Support for
ProLiant Management Processors.
2. On the Welcome page, click Next.
3. In the Find Management Processors window, enter the management processor search
criteria in the Addresses box.
TIP: You can also enter a list of management processors from a file by clicking Import
and then selecting the file.
