4. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 30).
5. If installed, remove the FBWC capacitor pack ("FBWC capacitor pack" on page 45).
6. For SFF drives, do the following:
a. Disconnect the SATA DVD cable from the system board to fully remove the DVD drive from the bay
("DVD-ROM and DVD-RW drive cabling" on page 69).
b. Remove the DVD drive from the server.
The server may look different than the one shown in the following illustration, depending on the server
model.
c. Disconnect the SATA DVD cable from the rear of the DVD drive.
7. For LFF drives, do the following:
a. Remove the DVD drive from the server.
You may need to disconnect the SATA DVD cable from the system board to fully remove the DVD
drive from the drive bay.
