• To remove all IML entries, click Clear IML. HP recommends saving the current contents in a
file before clearing the log.
• To save the IML Log to an HTML file onto a storage device such as a USB disk or diskette,
click Save. This operation does not affect the current contents of the IML, but it does archive
IML data for use when working with HP to diagnose issues.

System Event Log tab
The System Event Log (SEL) records events relating to system sensors. A System Event Log entry
displays the following information:
• Sensor Name—The name of the sensor.
• Sensor Type—The type of the sensor.
• Description—The description of the event.
• Initial Occurrence—The date and time that the event was initially added to the SEL.
• Last Occurrence—The date and time that the event was last added to the SEL.
• Count —The count of the event.
The Clear SEL button clears the contents of the Error Log.
The Save button allows the user to save the SEL file in HTML format.
NOTE: HP Insight Diagnostics only reports the SEL when the corresponding IPMI driver is loaded
for the online environment.
