Compaq ProLiant DL380 Server Overview

Description

The Compaq ProLiant DL380 server is a flexible, space-saving, high-performance

rack server with the latest available 1.0GHz Intel Pentium III processors.

updated ProLiant DL380:

New Features

This model brings the following changes to the ProLiant DL380 Pentium III line:

n 1.0GHz processor with 256KB integrated Level 2 cache.

n Higher capacity 110 CFM processor fan.

Upgrade Options

Table 3 lists the new option kits available for this server. The Pentium III 1.0 GHz

processor option kit is supported on all previously shipped and currently shipping

DL380 servers allowing an easy upgrade path to the latest processor performance

and technologies. Please note that upgrading the DL380 to the 1.0GHz model will

require the Thermal Upgrade kit as well.
