4. In the Connect to field, specify the hostname of the server.
5. Click the As User button to the right of the Connect to field to display the
Authentication Parameters dialog. Specify the root user and valid password,
check both Add to bookmarks and Remember this password, and then click
OK.
6. The Add Bookmarks dialog appears next. Enter a name for your cluster and
click OK. You can call the cluster whatever you want.
7. Add the remaining servers to the bookmarked cluster. On the HP Scalable NAS
Connect window, enter the hostname for the next server, click the As User button,
and then specify the root user and password and click Add to bookmarks and
Remember this password on the Authentication Parameters dialog. When you
click OK, the Add Bookmark dialog will allow you to add the server to the
bookmarked cluster. Repeat this step for each additional server.
8. Click Cancel on the HP Scalable NAS Connect window and then save the new
bookmark when you are prompted to do so.
9. The .matrixrc file is placed at /root/.matrixrc on the server. As user
root, copy the file to /root/.matrixrc on the remaining servers in the cluster.
4. Perform network configuration for Virtual Oracle Services
MxDB-Oracle-HiAv offers connectivity for a Virtual Oracle Service via a virtual host.
