MxDB-Oracle-HiAv operations should never be performed from the HP Scalable
NAS Management Console. Read-only access is all that is required.
7. Configure Oracle Virtual Services
Now you are ready to begin running databases in a shared clustered environment.
Chapter 3, “Operations” explains how this works and describes how to create a
small test database to help you become comfortable with the process. The chapter
also describes how to encapsulate and manage a database using the GUI and the
command line interface. Refer to the checklist in Appendix A, page 67 before
attempting the configuration steps to ensure that all prerequisites are met.
