1. Addserverstothecluster.Tospecifythefirstserver,clickAddServer
andtypetheIPaddressorhostnameoftheserverontheInputform.
ThenclickOKtoaddtheservertotheAddresscolumn.
RepeatthisproceduretoaddtheremainingserverstotheAddress
column.
2. Export
theconfiguration.ClickSelectAlltoselectalloftheserversin
theAddresscolumn.ThenclickExport.TheLastOperationProgres s
columnwilldisplaystatusmessagesastheconfigurationisexported
toeachserver.
IfyouareusingWebManagementbasedfencing,youmaybeasked
foradditionalinformationabout
eachserver.Basedontheentriesyou
madeontheFencingtab,theinformationcanincludeanyorallofthe
following:thevendor/typefortheRemoteManagementController,
theIPaddress/hostnameoftheRemoteManagementController,the
usernameandpasswordfortheRemoteManagementController.
NOTE: IfyouareusingWebmanagementbasedfencing,youshould
nowverifythattheremotemanagementcontrolleris
configuredcorrectly.See“TesttheFencingConfiguration”on
page35formoreinformation.DonotstartHPClusteredFile
Systemuntilyouhavecompletedtheverification.
3. StartHPClusteredFileSystemonthe
remainingservers.The
serverstowhichyouexportedtheconfigurationwillstillbeselected
intheAddresscolumn.ClickStartServicetostartHPClusteredFile
Systemonthoseservers.Aseachserverisstarted,astatusmessage
willappearintheLastOperationProgresscolumn.(Ifyouareusing
Webmanagementbasedfenci ng,alsostartHPClusteredFileSystem
onthefirstserver.)
