OntheClusterWideConfigurationtab,selectoneormoreserverstotest
andclicktheTest
Fencingbutton.
HPClusteredFileSystemthenfencestheserversinaccordancewiththe
methodyouspecifiedontheSAN&Fencingtab.Ifthecorrectserveris
notfenced,youwillneedtochecktheconfiguration.Forexample,ifyou
specifiedapatternfortheRemoteManagementController,theserver
maynotbeconfiguredtousethatpattern.
IfanincorrecthostnameorIPaddresswasspecifiedfortheRemote
ManagementControllerassociatedwiththeserver,exportthecluster
configurationtothatserveragainandthensupplythecorrect
information.
Install the Stand-Alone Management
Console
Forconvenience,theclustercanbemanagedfromaseparate
administrativestationratherthanfromaserverinthecluster.Toallow
youtodothis,theManagementConsoleandmxutilityareprovidedina
separatepackage(mxconsole_3.6.1.<xxxx>.<arch>.msi)thatcanbeinstalled
onPCsoutsidethecluster.
