8. Checkthedrivemappings.Whenyouaddaserver,theoperating
systemmayassigndrivelettersthatdonotmatchtheassignmentsyou
havemadeforyoursharedfilesystemsontheothernodes.Thereare
severalwaystocorrectthissituation:
•Usethemxfsunassigncommandtoremovetheincorrect
drive
assignmentsandthemx fsassigncommandtoestablishthecorrect
assignments.
•UsetheHPManagementConsoletochangedriveletter
assignments.Notetha tthechangewilltakeplaceonallnodesand
mayaffectapplications.
•UseWindowsDiskManagertochangetheassignments.
IfyouareusingWindows2000
TerminalServicestomakethechange,
youmustlogoutandthenlogbackinbeforeyoucanusethe
reassigneddriveletters.Thelogout/loginstepisnotnecessaryfor
Windows2003TerminalServicesorforWindows2000/2003local
consoleuse.
Move a Server to Another Cluster
Beforemovingaserverfromoneclustertoanother,youwillneedto
removethepreviousclusterconfigurationfromtheserver.Todothis,
deletethecontentsoftheC:\ProgramFiles\HewlettPackard\HP
ClusteredFileSystem\confdirectory.
Youcantheneitherimportthenewclusterconfigurationtotheserver,as
describedin
thepreviousprocedure,oryoucanexporttheconfiguration
fromanexistingserverinthecluster.
Toexporttheconfiguration,completethesesteps:
1. Onanexistingserverinthenewcluster,selectFile>Configureonthe
ManagementConsoletodisplaytheConfigureClusterwindow.
2. GototheClusterWideConfiguration
tab,clickAddServer,andtype
thehostnameorIPaddressoftheserverontheInputform.ClickOK
toaddtheservertotheAddresscolumn.
