Action: Disable unneeded Option ROMs (such as PXE).
Audible beeps: 2 short
Possible cause: The amount of available Option ROM space was exceeded.
Action: Disable any unneeded Option ROMs.
247 Memory Initialization Error
.– Ultra-Low Voltage (1.25V) and Standard Voltage (1.5V) DIMMs are mixed in the same system. No common voltage
available.
Action: Remove 1.25V or 1.5V DIMMs as mixing these types is not supported.
Audible beeps: Constant short beep
Possible cause: Ultra-Low voltage and Standard voltage DIMMs are mixed in the system.
Action: Remove either the 1.25V or the 1.5V DIMMs.
248 Unsupported Option Card configuration. The option card installed in Slot X
is only supported in Slot Y.
Action: Move the option card from Slot X to Slot Y.
Audible beeps: Constant long beep
Possible cause: The option card is not supported in the slot indicated in the error message.
Action: Move the option card to the slot indicated in the error message.
249 Unsupported Option Card configuration. The option card installed in Slot X
is not supported unless Slot Y is unpopulated.
Action: Move the Option Card in Slot X to a different slot or remove the card in Slot Y.

Possible cause: There is an unsupported option card configuration in the system.
Action: Move the option card that is indicated in the error message to a different slot or remove the option
card indicated in the error message.
