HP ProLiant DL 980 G7 Server System Errata

To ensure the ProLiant DL580 G7 and ProLiant DL980 G7 server memory and sensor information
is available in HP System Management Homepage for Windows, upgrade to HP Insight
Management WBEM Providers for Windows Version 2.6.1.0 (or later) as follows:
1. Click on the following URL: http://www.hp.com/#Support
2. Click on Download drivers and software (and firmware).
3. Under Select a product category, select Servers.
4. Select ProLiant/tc Series Servers.
5. Select the desired ProLiant series.
6. Select the desired ProLiant model.
7. Select the desired ProLiant generation.
8. Select the appropriate operating system.
9. Click on the category Software - System Management.
10. Locate HP Insight Management WBEM Providers for Windows Server 2003/2008 Version
2.6.1.0 (or later) and then choose the desired upgrade method.
HP WBEM Providers for Windows Version 2.6 may cause inconsistent
response time when loading or browsing pages in System Management
Homepage (SMH)
A timeout error is observed while browsing in the System Management Homepage (SMH) running
on ProLiant DL980 G7 servers. However, the response time for each click instance is inconsistent.
The timeout inconsistencies occur because the HP WBEM Providers for Windows Version 2.6 are
taking longer to respond to calls. When this occurs, the following error message is displayed in
SMH:
