Integrated power supply
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the power supply or
power supply blank to cool before touching it.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 24).
2. Disconnect the power cord from the AC source.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the server.
4. Remove the chassis cover (on page 27).
5. If installed, remove the optical drive ("Optical drive" on page 34).
6. Disconnect all power supply cables:
a. Disconnect the PSU P1 cable from the system board, and then release it from the left-side chassis
cable clip.
b. If installed, remove the optical drive ("Optical drive" on page 34).
c. Disconnect the PSU P3 cable from the 4-pin optical drive power cable.
d. Disconnect the PSU P2 cable from the 4-pin drive power cable.
7. Remove the power supply.
a. Remove the three screws from the rear side of the power supply.
b. Remove the one screw from the front side of the power supply.
