HP NAS Updater

This section provides additional information for the NAS Updater.

Issue: The update application fails to continue

Description The update application fails to continue and displays the message updates

not found at the requested location.

Workaround Reboot the system, wait several minutes, and start the NAS Updater.

Issue: Text does not get resized properly

Description When the graphics settings are changed on a NAS server while running the

update application, the update application text does not get resized.

Workaround Close and restart the update application.

Issue: The NAS Updater fails to clean up the installation folder

Description The NAS Updater fails to clean up the installation folder after installing the

service release patches from a network share drive.

Workaround The NAS Updater creates a UUID-type directory on the system volume or on the

data volume based on the space available. This directory can be deleted

manually.
