This document contains instructions for installing an HP ProLia

ML115 LO100c remote management card into an HP ProLiant
ML115 server.

Installation Guidelines
This installation is to be performed by qualified individuals who are
knowledgeable of the procedures, precautions, and hazards
associated with equipment containing hazardous energy circuits.

CAUTION: PCI-E x 8 Connector is only for HP ProLiant
ML115 LO100c remote
management card.
Installing the Card
1. Back up the server data.
2.
Shut down the operating system in an orderly manner, as
directed in the operating system instructions.
3.
If the server is on, press the power button to power down the
server.
4.
Disconnect all power cords.
5.
Remove the access panel.
6. Loosen the screw to remove the IPMI card bracket dummy from
the chassis.
7. Press the card straight down into the expansion slot on the
system board. (step one in figure 2)
8. Be sure the card is at the corre
ct position and the bracket on
the card is aligned with the open slot on the rear of the chas
sis.
9. Fasten the expansion card brac
ket on the rear panel with
screw. (step two in figure 2)

10. Replace the access panel.

Reconnect all power cords.

ted to LO100c 10/100 LAN
