Processors and PPMs
The ProLiant ML330 Generation 2 server comes standard with an Intel
Pentium III processor. Its corresponding PPM is integrated on the system
board. An optional processor and PPM can be installed.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the
internal system components to cool before touching them.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to equipment or loss of information, make sure
that the server is powered down, all cables are disconnected from the back of
the server, and the power cord is disconnected from the grounded (earthed)
AC outlet before removing the access panel.
CAUTION: Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage electronic components.
Make sure that you are properly grounded (earthed) before beginning any
installation procedure. See Appendix B, “Electrostatic Discharge,” for more
information.
