Finish the installation by completely tightening the screws in the same sequence.
IMPORTANT: Install all components with the same configuration that was used on the failed
system board.
11. Connect all cables removed from the failed system board.
12. Install fans 2 and 3.
13. Install fan 1.
14. Install all DIMMs.
15. Install the expansion boards.
16. If removed, connect the FBWC capacitor pack cable to the cache module.
17. Install the system air baffle.
18. If removed, install the PCI air baffle.
19. Install the access panel.
20. Return the server to an upright position.
21. Lock the front bezel.
22. Connect each power cord to the server.
23. Connect each power cord to the power source.
24. Power up the server (on page 25).
IMPORTANT: Install all components with the same configuration that was used on the failed
system board.
After you replace the system board, you must re-enter the server serial number and the product ID.
1. During the server startup sequence, press the F9 key to access RBSU.
2. Select the Advanced Options menu.
3. Select Service Options.
4. Select Serial Number. The following warnings appear:
