To protect your IT investment, the ProLiant ML530 includes expansion and
upgradeability features that allow the server to grow as application
requirements change. The ML530 supports up to two Pentium III Xeon
processors to ensure maximum processor performance. It also includes support
for up to 12 Wide Ultra2 SCSI one-inch hot-plug drives, memory expandable
to 4 GB, and eight PCI slots providing a mix of 32-bit, 33-MHz; 64-bit,
33-MHz; and 64-bit, 66-MHz capabilities. Additionally, the ProLiant ML530
is designed with an electronics bay that allows you to quickly and cost-
effectively upgrade to future technology. All of these features are provided in
your new ML530 to ensure lasting value.
The ProLiant ML530 is easy to operate and support. Serviceability features
such as a modular, tool-free design provide easy component access to reduce
the time it takes for upgrades and maintenance. Compaq SmartStart™ enables
you to quickly integrate the server into your environment, and Compaq Insight
Manager™ enables you to effectively manage the servers in your
environment.
