Preparing the Rack Mounting Brackets and
Slide Rail Assemblies
Each pair of mounting brackets with attached slide rail assemblies supports
one rack-mountable server.

Each slide rail assembly consists of an outer bracket rail and an inner
component rail (see Figure 3-7). These pieces can be separated. The bracket
rails attach to the rack mounting brackets (shown in Figure 3-6), and the
component rails attach to the sides of the server chassis.
