Table 11 lists the PCI bus detection order, Primary and Secondary bus locations, and slot
numbers for the several ProLiant servers. This matrix can help you identify how the PCI BIOS
assigns bus numbers in these servers. The ProLiant 8000 and ProLiant DL580 include triple-peer
PCI Bus architecture, the ProLiant ML530 and ProLiant DL380 contain highly parallel PCI Bus
architecture, and the ProLiant ML350 is a dual-peer PCI Bus architecture server. This matrix
illustrates the differences in the PCI bus number detection order from one server model to
another.
